Job description: Company DescriptionThe role plays a key role in the wholesale finance team, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager.The successful candidate responsible for the roaming business area working to improve and simplify accounting & processes whilst providing reporting, accounting and forecasting support to wholesale . The overall goal to help drive and support delivery of the Wholesale financial targets. The successful candidate will hold strong financial accounting knowledge as well as commercial finance understanding to be able to establish robust commercial frameworks, ability to translate this into accurate financial accounting and strong financial controls.Job DescriptionAs a Lead Financial Accounting Manager within Three, you will take responsibility for improving current roaming processes, accounting and historic balances to bring about a simpler, clearer way of working.Commercial Finance
- Responsibility of the Roaming P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow. Implement and develop best in class commercial frameworks to deliver profitable growth.
- Improve reporting to ensure better ways of working with the commercial team and IOD
- Ownership of pricing to be sent to MVNOs on a quarterly basis
Financial Accounting and Financial Control
- Responsible for the month end process delivering timely and accurate results. Full end to end responsibility month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations,
- Communication of Roaming P&L performance with analysis and insight, calling out variances vs budget and 5 year plan
- Maintaining and refining the mid month and 3 month outlook process to identify key risk and opportunities.
- Lead the planning and delivery of the budgeting and quarterly forecasting process and ensure 5 year plan reporting commitments are achieved.
- Responsible for Financial Reporting of H3G Subsidiaries where applicable. Be point of contact to lead successful External Audit completions across the area.
- Ownership of balance sheet for roaming call out of risks and opportunities
Qualifications
- Extensive experience providing expert financial competence. Significant telco (within industry) experience.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently on supporting business decisions with professional interpretations of financial information.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently on costing, budgeting and finance tasks.
- Process Management – Ability to spot opportunities to continuously improve and streamline processes.
- Qualified Accountant – Professional Qualification – ACA, ACCA & CIMA – Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to act independently while guiding and training others on supporting business decisions with professional interpretations of financial information.
