Job description: Job SummaryOverall responsibility for the day-to-day management of Workshops facility including:

  • successful completion of all Repair and Overhaul and Manufacturing activity, management and resolution of complex issues and delivery of customer requirements
  • ensuring all materials, resources, and facilities required to deliver the work on time are available, at the right cost, and to the required standard
  • Ensuring that all customer expectations are fully met
  • Responsible for ensuring full compliance with EASA/CAA Regulatory requirement, awareness/adherence HSE legislation, and company procedures
  • Responsible for the delivery of agreed strategic imperatives in the context of the Workshops facility, leading continuous improvement as well as the delivery of the financial plan to budget
  • Drive the financial performance of the workshop to maximise cost reduction and deliver productivity improvement
  • Provide overall leadership and direction in the setting, communicating and delivery of agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with respect to Quality, Production, Manpower, Health & Safety and Compliance
  • Lead and coach the Production and Planning teams and other support staff, guiding them in their current positions and assisting with career development and training
  • Other tasks as required by Senior Management.

Shift Pattern:Monday – Thursday, 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 1pmStorm Aviation often requires aircraft engineers around the world. In the UK, we have staff at Belfast, Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Newcastle, Luton, Birmingham, Stansted and Prestwick. Overseas we have Dusseldorf and Dhaka.
