What would you do as our Accounting Manager
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in overseeing our accounting operations and ensuring the accurate and compliant recording of financial transactions.
You would also:
- Manage, lead, and motivate a team of General Ledger and Senior Accountants to ensure efficient and effective performance.
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate closure of financial statements and adherence to IFRS and local GAAP.
- Supervise monthly and quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity and adherence to financial standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including variance analysis and reporting in the systems like HFM.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies, minimizing potential risks.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s, master’s degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in handling accounting tasks and maintaining financial records, including General Ledger functions, posting, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Chartered Accountant qualifications (e.g., ACCA) or other equivalent accounting qualifications.
- Knowledge of relevant ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA will be an advantage) or Oracle etc. to streamline accounting processes.
- Experience with fixed asset and intercompany accounting tasks.
