With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we strive to empower students to achieve their full potential and succeed in their future endeavors.Role Overview: We are recruiting a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This role involves teaching Food Technology classes two days a week, with protected PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time provided. The position is temporary, starting from Easter until July 19th, 2024.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to students, ensuring curriculum coverage and progression.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and encourages creativity and innovation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their practical work and academic progress, supporting their development and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Food Technology department and across the school to share best practices and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and progress, in line with school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Food Technology or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food Technology education.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level, with a focus on practical skills and food hygiene.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
