Job description: Reference: 3986A company based in Luton who are a global supplier are looking for an Interim Management Accountant to join their team. This is an urgent requirement and requires someone with good experience within management accounts.They are looking for someone to start ASAP so please only apply if you are immediately available.Ideally you will be Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA.This is a broad role and requires someone as soon as possible.Duties include:

• Daily cash flow
• Manage all payment processing and approvals
• Bank queries
• Manage year end audit and preparation of the statutory accounts
• VAT Reporting
• Review month-end overhead accruals including analysis
• Maintain stock schedules throughout the month
• Prepare and post all accruals relating to stock
• Maintenance of invoice discounting accounts and monthly reconciliations
• Fixed Asset, depreciation and amortisation review, journal postings and reconciliations
• Prepare and post monthly journals per journal list
• Manage and prepare all employed, contracted and oversea payroll schedules and post monthly journals. Manage all payroll queries.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Production and monitoring of monthly management accounts and variance analysis where required.

There is an opportunity for a permanent role for someone who has stock experience – specifically goods in transit experience.This interim role will be for approximately 2-5 months.Think Accountancy and Finance is the finance division of Think Specialist Recruitment, an independent recruitment agency based in Hemel Hempstead and working across the Herts, Beds and Bucks area.
