You will be accountable for knitting together the “what” with the “how” of our strategy, driving implementation through effective, planning, tracking, and communication of key departmental activities and deliverables.Offering an opportunity to build or strengthen a consulting and analytical toolkit without the consulting hours or travel, you will be supported with extensive training and development to help grow and develop your skills, both in role and beyond, to build a bigger, more exciting career as part of the McDonald’s team.What will my accountabilities be?

  • Deadline & Reporting Management

Partnering with the Supply Chain Leadership team to ensure all deadlines for strategic deliverables, reports, and submissions have been communicated, tracked, and delivered. This will include strategy planning submissions, OKR/KPI reporting, corporate governance and reporting submissions, supply chain information requests, as well as strategic discussion pre-reads and post-reads. * Milestone & Event ReadinessPartnering with the Supply Chain Leadership team to ensure strategic planning milestones are tracked, information requirements are clear, and that all pre-alignment needed ahead of these milestones has happened. This will include SLT engagements with Global or Market Executives, as well as key Supplier & Franchisee engagements. You will also have responsibility for planning key Supply Chain events, including our annual Supplier Conference, Supply Chain department away days, and Supply Chain Leadership team away days. * Contacts & Rota ManagementPartnering with our category teams, wider internal stakeholders, suppliers, and franchisees to maintain the master departmental stakeholder maps and contact lists. This will include stakeholder and contact segmentation, data cleansing, blending, and quality checking, as well as periodic information gathering. You will also be responsible for management of internal rotas, including holiday and on-call rotas. * Internal CommsPartnering with the Supply Chain Leadership team to ensure strategic internal communications are delivered clearly and inclusively. This will include communications about key deadlines and reporting requirements, milestones and events, contacts & rotas, as well as any other internal inputs gathering or ad hoc communications required. * General Administrative SupportYou will also be responsible for proving such flexible support as is required across our sub-functional areas (including purchasing, sustainability, quality, food safety, and digital & logistics) in order to support the business.What Team will I be a part of?This role sits within the Strategy & Business Planning team within Supply Chain, with a focus on driving the overall organisational effectiveness of the department and business.This team forms one of five sub-functions within the department, the others being: (1) Purchasing, (2) Quality Assurance & Nutrition, and (3) Sustainable & Ethical Sourcing, and (4) Digital & logistics.Collectively we are responsible for the end-to-end food value chain from farm to restaurant, and including everything from the assured supply and price, to digitisation, quality, and sustainability of these value chains.We are committed to being highly positive, collaborative, and effective in how we operate. QualificationsTechnical
