We are passionate about the industry and always on the look out for new talent to join us on our journey…A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGERWhat you’ll be doing…Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- To act on customer feedback relevant to your areas of responsibility. This is to include customer complaints and compliments.
- To assist with implement effective stock rotation and maintain stock levels in accordance with hotel business, ensuring all products are displayed according to the hotel and company policy.
- To assist with liquor stock-takes where required.
- To ensure all menus are up to date and displayed in relevant areas, ie. Lifts, reception podium, restaurant, lobby bar, club lounge. On occasions type up menus as required.
- Assist with managing day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.
- Educate and train and motivate team members in compliance with brand standards, service behaviours, and governmental regulations
