IMMEDIATE STARTRole DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing Assistant located in Portsmouth. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in day-to-day tasks, including conducting market research, providing excellent customer service, and supporting sales and marketing efforts.Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • experience with social media marketing,
  • content marketing, and email marketing.
  • You must have strong analytical skills and be able to interpret and report on marketing data and trends.

This role offers the perfect opportunity for an entry-level candidate who is looking for their first step into the world of marketing!The role

  • Primary focus is to create marketing content for social media to include LinkedIn, Facebook and other platforms.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting on marketing campaigns
  • Creating content for Promotions – graphics of sales & promotions
  • Attending trade fairs to promote products
  • Oversee the production of marketing materials and promotional merchandise.

Qualifications

  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Experience in Market Research
  • Customer Service skills
  • Sales skills and experience with Sales & Marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the industry or related field is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
