Job description: JPC Cleaning Supervisor Job DescriptionPurpose:Supervise and oversee the efficient operation of cleaning services and the practical organisation of the day-to-day cleaning operation. Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive cleaning service in compliance with JPC Cleaning Services procedures, practices, and Health & Safety regulations.A JPC Cleaning Supervisor is to lead by example, delivering a world-class cleaning and support service in line with JPC values, and exceeding client expectations.At all times you are requested to adhere to the following supporting documentation:

  • Uniform standards
  • Operational manual
  • Employee handbook
  • Employee contract

Responsibilities and Main Duties:

  • Working closely with the Account Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisors, and wider team.
  • Responsible for managing/overseeing daily operations for all internal areas.
  • Ensure all cleaning specifications and recommendations are always followed.
  • Ensure service levels are meeting agreed targets and all outstanding actions are carried out.
  • Ensure monthly initiatives and ad-hoc works are carried out, logged, and documented.
  • Maintain safe working practices, using correct barriers, and signage and ensure the team has the correct PPE.
  • Arranging all relevant and necessary cover.
  • Ensure the team has the correct training, tools, and equipment
  • Produce weekly operations reports advising on proactive and reactive works, sicknesses, holidays and absences, and plan of action going forward.
  • Ensuring adequate levels/supply of consumables.
  • Managing all the onsite cleaning equipment.
  • Issuing, documenting, and monitoring of overtime.
  • Ensuring all periodic works are delivered on time.
  • Ensure all operational processes align with ISO 9001/14001/18001 standards.
  • Notify the Helpdesk and report maintenance issues, fires, floods, and damage to property.
  • Proactive to all Health and safety issues relating to the individual, team, and customers.
  • Flexibility within the role is required, ensuring all aspects of the business are covered.
