They enjoy spending time together and have many opportunities to collaborate and socialise.The Job – Business Development Manager – Event Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales
- You will be responsible for driving revenues by selling sponsorship and exhibition solutions to clients.
- Selling on large-scale B2B events that are held in the US
- Research and generate business, increase sales pipeline and bring on new clients.
- Continually develop your industry knowledge and become a market specialist in your industry
- Write and post regularly on social media, especially LinkedIn.
- Attend and pitch clients over the phone and through face-to-face meetings
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in other departments; sales, marketing, production, editorial and operations.
- Attend your events and assist/support on-site where needed
Who are you?
- You’ll be educated to a Degree level
- Ideally, you will have directly transferable sponsorship or exhibition sales skills. Applications from sales professionals with experience working in event sales, recruitment consultancy, media / advertising sales, IT sales are also considered.
- You are interested in business and the economy, and enjoy learning new things.
- Outstanding spoken and written communication skills
- Be able to sell, be organised, ambitious and articulate.
- You will be pro-active in your approach to selling, persuasive & confident
- You must be hard-working, committed, and a team player
- Enthusiastic and self motivated
