Job description: The Redline Group have an URGENT opportunity for a Contract Electrical Design Engineer with an immediate start to support our Hampshire-based customer on an initial 6-month opportunity. While those who are immediately available are of particular interest, those available in 2-3 weeks will also be considered. This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC. Our client is a global business with significant presence at various locations across the UK in high performance engineering, electronics, software and mechanical technology. Their products are designed, developed and manufactured here in the UK and are sold into a wide range of global markets including: Automotive, Commercial Aerospace, Video, Defence, off-highway, industrial, avionics and control. You will join a team of engineers working on a project for a high-profile customer, delivering a critical new system both on-time and under budget. This opportunity allows you to use your years of experience to help finalise the development life cycle and bring the product to life. Key Skills Required – Contract Electrical Design Engineer, Hampshire: – Experience of completing wiring harness design and cabling designs. – Experience with a range of CAD packages is useful, specifically Solidworks or Draftsight are of particular interest. – Experience with military/defence standard electrical components is HIGHLY desirable.
