Job description: The closing date for applications is 23:59 on Wednesday 10th April 20241st interviews will be via Teams on 24th – 26th April 2024We now have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Communications Specialist to join us to support the Comms team and broader organisation to meet their objectives through digital solutions.Reporting to the Communications and Marketing Manager you will look to maximise reach and engagement with our key external and internal audiences by identifying, leading and maintaining developments in our digital communication capabilities, policies, processes and standards.The Digital Communications Specialist will be our expert in the digital marketing space and will own and deliver a digital strategy roadmap that spans the ASA and CAP ensuring brand consistency across all of our digital channels.You will manage user experience research studies that provide insights into online behaviour, and you will act as webmaster for our website, proactively reviewing content, and maintaining and overseeing ad-hoc content changes, design updates and development work.Additionally, you will develop our social media strategy and oversee its execution, manage the search engine optimisation (SEO) of our website, manage our pay per click (PPC) campaigns and lead on the creation and promotion of our in-house video production, alongside the Digital Communications Executive.About youWe are looking for a talented Digital Marketing professional with solid experience in advising on digital strategy and working with a variety of internal teams and specialist external suppliers.You will have excellent knowledge of content management systems; experience with SharePoint would be advantageous.Experience of video production, search engine optimisation and web analytics using associated tools including Google Analytics and Google Search Console is required and you will be an expert in the online space covering: web, email, search, social and database marketing, including trends and technologies.With good relationship management, organisational and project management skills, you will have the ability to interact with all levels of the company, including Senior Management, translating technical concepts and approaches in an easy-to-understand manner.You will also need excellent IT skills including Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and a basic understanding of Adobe Premiere.What can we offer you?Holiday entitlement starts at 25 days and builds up to 30 days after 5 years’ service, with an option to buy or sell up to 5 days each year.
