Our services range from a simple execution only online service to bespoke discretionary investment management including retirement planning.About this opportunity –This is a fantastic opportunity for the the sucessful candidate to join us at our London, Smithfield office as Compensation Analyst on a FTC contract ending in January 2025.As Compensation Analyst you will support all cyclical compensation activities including the annual pay review, variable pay and salary benchmarking. Providing accurate, timely and insightful data to aid decision making and contribute to the delivery of the Compensation strategy. You will be part of the Compensation team, reporting to the Director, Compensation Advisory & Regulatory, Wealth Management Europe and working closely with the team and other HR members to manage key compensation and other HR projects within agreed timeframes.Responsibilities Include –
- Assisting with the building and maintaining the annual pay review data model to include analysis of any legislative impact
- Understand the impact of relevant legislative changes in order to illustrate/model the impact on employees and the business
- Prepare and submit data for the annual salary survey. Analyse and interpret survey results and any other market data that can be clearly understood and presented to key business functions.
- Provide relevant market research as necessary on compensation elements including benefits and fixed/variable pay arrangements.
- Support the design and delivery of ad-hoc compensation projects by providing insight through data analysis
- In line with legislation, prepare data for the gender pay report for the UK in line with legislative requirements.
- Systems, to maintain and audit all the relevant data in the system to ensure accuracy.
Skills/Experience –
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insight
- Strong problem solving ability and an improvement mind-set
- Attention to detail and highly numerate with a proactive approach
- Comfortable collating and coordinating management information through detailed analysis and modelling using Excel, as a minimum to include (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, nested IFs, pivots etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable dealing with people at all levels internally and externally
- Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office
- Experience of using SuccessFactors.
- Finance sector experience, ideally 1 or 2 years.
