Job description: A graduate data Analyst Is required to join a successful company to assist with generating reports using business intelligence software and turn the data into useful recommendations and actions.   • This role would suit an efficient and bright self-starter looking for a systems analyst position that will offer extensive learning and development in a fast-paced European fashion business.

The Role:

  • Updating system process map and keeping this up to date with all changes.
  • Testing using UAT checklists. Need these per area to ensure can allocate to wider business/ super users for implementation following major changes.
  • Ensuring all users are confident in the system.
  • Problem solving with users for training gaps.
  • Creation of tools, systems, and processes for all users to be efficient.
  • Mapping all scenarios that require testing based on issues –
  • Creating and updating user manuals as needed.
  • Support the Finance team to scope and deliver on regular and ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with wider business on system and reporting requirements.
  • Exceptions reports – to run every week to review system information / highlight blank information / poor data and identify system inaccuracies and escalate as needed.

Skills

  • Someone with business management degree – essential (2.1 or 2.2).
  • Preferably UON business school graduate (2.1 minimum).
  • Experience in SQL/HTML/ Python or any coding experience – essential.
  • Experience in Javascript – Desirable
  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM applications creating flows, Power platform fundamentals – desirable.
  • Experience as developer for Business Central * AL, C/AL & C/SIDE programming across Dynamics NAV/BC – desirable
  • Maths A level – level B or above – essential
  • GCSE – A English and Maths – desirable but B essential.
  • Creating macros in excel – desirable.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in office environment – working on data migration/ data analysis/ system redesign / system design or project management. Desirable.
  • Office 365 competence – essential

Candidates who have graduated from Nottingham University would be advantageous.

Expected salary: £22000 – 24000 per year
