Job description: Marks Sattin is delighted to be working exclusively with a high-growth luxury retailer who are looking to hire a Head of Accounting on a 2 month contract. As the number 2 in finance, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 and support the Finance Director in a very exciting period of change.Key responsibilities:
- Have full responsibility of transactional, accounting, compliance, and performance review of eight of their luxury retail brands.
- Responsible for preparing and submitting financial statements for the year end Audit, including Tax management.
- Responsible for driving process improvements, systems implementations, and building more robust controls across.
- Responsible for analysing financial performance, producing commentary and understanding what this means to the business in terms of opportunities and risks.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working for a multi-brand company.
- Experience working in the retail/hospitality/FMCG space.
- Experience managing a large volume of transactions.
- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience dealing with external auditors.
