A highly reputable Precision Equipment specialist in the South Yorkshire region are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a new wave of company products. This company supply cutting-edge equipment & one-off solutions to niche sectors.

You’ll work directly with the Lead Engineer, within a multi-disciplined team boasting over 20 experienced Engineers. The main function of the role is to design and develop intricate and complex mechanical equipment, whilst integrating cutting-edge electronic equipment. This will include overseeing your own projects from initial conception, through to in-house testing and manufacture.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree Educated in Engineering
  • 3D CAD – Siemens NX (or similar)
  • Knowledgeable with Electronics, Electro-Mechanical, Controls (advantageous)
  • GD&T (BS8888)
  • Sheet Metal, Machined Components, Light Fabrications
