Job description: Mediplacements are seeking a driven and motivated band 6 Adult Dietitian to work at our client’s hospital in Berkshire.

The pay for this position is £23-£28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for a 3 month duration.

Specific Skills:

• A four-year undergraduate first or a two year post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
• UK registered with Health Professional Council
• Member of the British Dietetic Association
• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Demonstration that clinical skills are up to date
• Expereince with learning disabilities – desirable
• Knowledge of RIO electronic recording system – desirable
• To supervise/mentor the work of the dietetic assistant as required.
• To provide cover for other members within the Nutrition and Dietetic Learning disability department, which may necessitate travelling to other locations across Berkshire.
• To contribute to trust wide policy strategies, nutrition steering group, providing learning disability perspective
• To plan, manage and prioritise own clinical workload across Reading, Wokingham and Newbury community teams
