Remuneration: Up to £40,000neg + up to 40% bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Plant Hire will involve:
- Account Management role selling a range of construction plant hire equipment such as: Dumpers, Excavators, Access Platforms, Telehandlers, Rollers etc.
- All of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, sub-contractors, groundworkers and civils / groundwork companies
- The main focus will be growing the existing customer base and increasing new business sales
- Visit customers offices and construction sites to maintain relationships and identify new sales opportunities
- Utilise the CRM system to manage customer information and ensure it is accurate and up to date
- Deal with customer enquiries, produce quotes and follow up on sales leads
- Liaise with the depot manager & operations team to ensure customer orders are delivered within the expected timeframes
- Dealing with over 100 live accounts from the surrounding areas
- Contributing to a company turnover of circa £50m
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Plant Hire with:
- Must have experience in the plant hire / construction industry
- Ideally from a sales or account management background however with the right plant hire knowledge would be open
- An autonomous self-starter with a strong character
- Organised, resilient, personable and driven
- A full UK driving license
