Job description: London – £60,000 – £70,000 In-House Healthcare Litigation role available – leading medical defence organisation – LondonI currently have an exciting new opportunity available at a leading MDO for a 2-4 year Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor/Legal Executive based in Central London.
You will be an in-house legal adviser delivering a legal service to members, including the management of primarily defendant clinical negligence litigation, regulatory cases, coroners inquests, disciplinary investigations (MHPS / NHSE/private hospital investigations) and advice queries.Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical negligence litigation
- Regulation
- Coronial law
- Disciplinary
- Health law and advice
The day-to-day role will include the provision of legal services to members in respect of civil claims, GMC/GDC investigations and MPTS/PCC hearings, NHSE/MHPS investigations, coroners inquests and general advice queries.The team is seeking someone with previous experience in defendant clinical negligence or regulatory at either an in-house or law firm setting.
You must be a self-reliant litigator and can manage complex and high value medical litigation matters.
