The practical application of technical excellence lies at the heart of all they do and is supported by their industry-leading facilities, expertise, and knowledge.About the Senior Food Technologist jobTo execute product development and research projects from initial idea generation, through recipe and process development and pilot plant trials and undertake long term research projects which include food and beverage development and case studies. To contribute to the development and delivery of technical training courses.Key tasks
- Plan and execute technical delivery on research contract and training projects.
- Interpretation of results and preparation of client reports under supervision to agreed standards.
- Design and provide support training courses and present on external/internal training courses both online and face to face.
- Respond to technical enquiries with support in an effective and timely manner.
- Prepare project proposals for clients in order to maintain well established working relationships.
- Maintenance of equipment and keep accurate records.
- Assist with hygiene/good housekeeping activities, and maintaining overall cleanliness within work stations.
About YouThe successful candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years NPD experience within food manufacturing industry. An understanding of the thermal processing of liquid products would be preferable and a Full UK/EU driving license.
- Be an excellent communicator both written and verbally, internally, and externally.
- Problem solves effectively with a forward-thinking attitude to prevent future instances.
- An organised individual with accountability for own workload, as well effectively and openly within a team setting.
- Excellent at analysing complex data sets.
More detailsThe Senior Food Technologist job is based in Gloucestershire and is paying £30,000 – £38,000 according to your experience.The package includes hybrid working, 1 day per week during probation period, 2 days thereafter.
