Job Description
We are now recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to lead, manage and complete construction projects with a high level of professionalism, according to brand standards and local legislation. Key responsibilities are:
- Secure Health & Safety requirements are in place.
- Secure internal routines and strengthen communication between departments in respect to project planning and execution.
- Secure that contractors and partners are working in line with the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
- Secure investment budget and follow up on both Net and Gross investments.
- Prepare and present budgets, project timelines and business cases to stakeholders.
- Drive the coordination and cross collaboration across design, execution, and logistics for your projects.
- Follow up on the construction process and secure deadlines & quality standards are met.
- Liaise with consultants and authorities to secure all necessary permits required.
- Support the Procurement Manager in the review of contracts and KPI setting and follow up.
- Build relationships with our Third party contractors and partners.
- Ensuring that the relevant information is communicated to other departments and stakeholders on time and in a clear structure way.
- Securing strong communication between contractors, construction department and stores.
- Keeping project budget within forecasted figures and challenge change orders if they occur.
- The management of several stakeholder, various projects, and tasks simultaneously.
- Prioritising workload, especially when under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of the business needs and requirements.

You have the ability to work strategically, by planning ahead and foresee opportunities and improvements. As a person you are analytical, methodical and conscientious. You enjoy teamwork and effectively collaborate with a group of diverse people in order to achieve set goals and targets.
Besides your personality we see that you have:
- Approximately 3 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in a retail or a related industry. Prior work on retail store openings, rebuilds & consolidations is valuable.
- Familiarity with the retail industry is preferred, with an understanding of retail operations, customer dynamics, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in budgeting, cost estimation and cost control.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and ensure timely project delivery.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving circumstances
- Experience from working in an international, matrix organization with several stakeholders and seniority levels.
