Job description: My client is looking for a Night Cleaning Manager in the Chester area.
You will be responsible for the day-today delivery, management and monitoring of cleaning staff to a high standard set by the client.
Key Tasks:
- Ensure standards of cleanliness are met
- Regular monitoring of cleaning services
- Provide advice on cleaning processes, materials, and equipment
- Establish and maintain a positive team relationship across the team
- Conduct staff performance reviews and appraisals
- Ensure the prompt reporting of any building defects
- Ensure that risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work are in place
- Review, audit and monitor all health and safety arrangements within areas of responsibility
- Report and investigate all accidents and incidents
- To review and develop training programmes for cleaning staff, ensuring these reflect the requirements
- Ensure basic training needs are delivered, including toolbox talks
- Prioritise and delegate reactive and planned tasks to the area team
- Raising of purchase order requests
- Management of multiple cleaning staff
Previous experience as a Cleaning Manager is essential.
The hours for this position is 7pm – 7am.
The rate of pay is negotiable
