As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:Working on a variety of interesting projects across varied sectorsBeing involved in all stages of the projectsWorking closely with others, in a team environment, to achieve a common goalProducing drawings and specificationsCarrying out design calculations utilising both manual and computer techniquesMonitor own design delivery for quality and in line with programme and budgetLiaison with the other design department members to understand client’s requirements and select solutions, plant and equipment appropriately with some guidanceServices technical design knowledge and co-ordinationRepresenting CPW at certain project meetingsSustainability understanding and implementation (LZC)Site management of contractors and installations in terms of compliance with designThe ideal candidate will have a degree in electrical or building services engineering and will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience in design in building services.You must have experience using design software such as Relux/Dialux, Amtech and Revit. It is desirable to have a membership with CIBSE or IET and have the drive to become Chartered.Please apply with your CV if this is something you may be interested in.
