Job description: Are you a Quality Engineer with a passion for automotive excellence? White Label are excited to be working with a key client on their lookout for a Quality specialist who is Customer focused and well-versed with PPAP and NPI!
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer:
- Support the Quality Manager in implementing quality improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Product Engineering to resolve quality issues.
- Lead APQP activities, quality investigations, and problem-solving teams.
- Manage containment activities
- Support NPI activities
- Take charge of and contribute to internal projects in various business areas such as cost reduction, health and safety, and quality improvement.
- Liaise with Customers and Suppliers
Essential Requirements of the Quality Engineer:
- Prior experience as a Quality Engineer, ideally within Automotive manufacturing
- Knowledge of APQP, P/FMEA, Control Plan, Capability Studies, Gauge R&R, MSA, etc.
- PPAP and NPI experience
- IATF16949 internal auditor is desirable
