If so, and you’re a digital creative with a eye for details and a track record of bringing ideas to life through visuals, motion, and interaction design, join our dynamic design team and create intuitive, delightful experiences that exceed expectations globally.Our multi-disciplinary team spans the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Mexico, Poland, China, and India so you’ll also bring the ability to scale your concepts across cultural boundaries and diverse users.You’ll be joining our Wealth and Personal Banking business, which supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management.In this role you will:

  • Drive and deliver exceptional quality for digital Visual design experiences across our products and teams.
  • Set and lead the visual experience from discovery to implementation, collaborating with product design, research, content writers, product managers, analysts and engineering to deliver impactful designs.
  • Elevate product quality and define future opportunities, collaborating with other team leads to evolve our products and services.
  • Work with design leaders from other teams to create a seamless experience for HSBC customers.
  • Oversee and lead visual design across all touch points, including web and areas of our mobile app.
  • Proactively manage the pipeline of assignments, ensuring clear sequence and delivery dates, as well as workload planning.
  • Set a world-leading quality bar for visual design, ensuring it stands strong within the competitive brand landscape.
  • Act as a strong brand guardian, ensuring all visual design across the company aligns with our brand and design system.
  • Establish, promote, and support design principles, best practices, and accessibility standards.

Requirements:To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Impressive design portfolio showcasing a range of projects and problem-solving approaches with experience of defining innovative creative directions.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including tech, risk, and business teams. Focus on smart customer first solutions.
  • Analytical thinker, capable of forming both holistic and detailed views of problems. Articulate design work and rationale effectively to peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to transfer ideas to UX flows and prototypes quickly. Strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of design systems, pixel-perfect UI, and interaction design.
  • Experience building products for Android, iOS, and web platforms. Designing app experiences and or digital products – Essential
  • Fast-paced with the ability to prioritize and work on projects concurrently. Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and driving the right discovery and delivery.
  • Strong understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles.
  • Qualification in Design, UX, or a related field – Desirable.
  • Experience with Figma (or similar design tools). Essential
