Job description: Samsic UK is recruiting for a temporary part-time School Cleaning Operative to cover maternity leave and provide a professional facilities management service based at Hurstpierpoint College.This position is for 5 hours per day from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday.You will receive a payment of £11.19 per hour (increasing to £11.75 from April 1st) for this position. The temporary contract is for 7 months, with a possible extension for another 2 months. Payment is annualised on a monthly basis, and payments are made monthly unless otherwise specified. Overtime worked during half-terms and holidays will be paid in addition to the regular compensation. Start date is March 24th.There is a possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract after the maternity leave cover period.As per the necessities of this position, all successful applicants will require a UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) check to be conducted. About you
- You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service. You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.
- Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
- Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.
