Job description: OverviewGrow with us…We are currently seeking a dynamic Social Media expert at 1 Hotel Mayfair. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this integral role oversees the property’s digital presence and requires a creative, passionate, hardworking team player who can be our in-house digital storyteller. You’ll be part of an innovative team that’s always looking to make each marketing campaign and better than the last, and one that thrives on consideration, thoughtfulness, collaboration and hard work.ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy and Creation:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive social media content strategies and performance KPI’s for 1 Hotel Mayfair and each of its distinct venues (Dovetale and Dover Yard)
  • Create and manage engaging monthly content calendars for the property and each restaurant venue that promote onsite programming, brand tentpole holidays, special events, collaborations and more.
  • Organise and oversee professional photography and videography content shoots for all aspects of the property including rooms, food and beverage and special events.
  • Capture on-brand, social first content on iPhone in real-time while attending monthly programming events on property when necessary.
  • Design on-brand promotional materials and copy to build awareness and promote special events, limited time food and beverage offerings, sales collateral, newsletters etc.
  • Strategise and manage a monthly paid social advertising boosting budget to support targeted campaigns for dining venues.
  • Maintain and regularly audit copy and property content on website, app, and listings, including quarterly/seasonal refreshes of photos/videos.
  • Consistently uphold the 1 Hotels brand guidelines and ensure all content and promotional materials align with the hotel’s mission-driven approach.
  • Implement campaign to increase reach and following across all three social platforms.

Community Management:

  • Foster a strong online community for the property and each restaurant venue by actively engaging with guests and followers, responding to comments and assisting with inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Protect the brand image by monitoring conversations across social media channels and implementing appropriate responses and proactive initiatives
  • Understand the 24/7 nature of hospitality and the importance of handling sensitive situations timely and gracefully.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and discussions relevant to the luxury hospitality industry and the brand.
  • Engage with influencers, bloggers, and partners to extend digital reach, working with the property’s PR agency for on-brand influencer collaborations.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize social analytic tools to track and measure the performance of monthly growth and performance of the property’s social media accounts and campaigns.
  • Review and report on monthly paid social advertising performance and provide strategic directive for future campaigns based on learnings.
  • Create and submit detailed monthly reporting for each property account with learnings and insights on adjusting strategies based on the data-driven findings.

Website and Digital Marketing:

  • Maintain and manage property and restaurant venue website that promote onsite programming, brand tentpole holidays, special events, collaborations and more.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider 1 Hotels team ensuring web content aligns with the overall strategy and remains up-to-date with information as it happens
  • Collate monthly offerings alongside Marketing Director for email marketing campaigns for brand, property and restaurant

QualificationsAbout you…

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3 + years of proven digital and social media management experience within the luxury hospitality/lifestyle industry
  • A creative thinker with hands-on experience creating content for brands with minimum basic video editing skills.
  • Experience using analytical tools to interpret monthly performance metrics to inform strategy for each social media account.
  • Strong understanding of digital software and programs such as Drupl, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Manager, Dropbox, Brandfolder, Later, Leonardo and a willingness to learn and expand knowledge of new programs and platforms.
  • Tapped in and passionate about social media content creation, trends, and best practices of an ever-changing industry.
  • An excellent proof-reader with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong design eye and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
  • Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a busy operation.
