Job description: Our client is a family run company based on the outskirts of St Ives. They are looking to expand their Warehouse team with a Trainee Warehouse & Logistics Lead.If you are full of ambition and eager to progress then this is the role for you! The ideal candidate will wish to develop a strong background in Warehouse and Logistics Management and have an opportunity to study at college one day per week on a relevant Warehouse apprenticeship.Main duties of a Trainee Warehouse & Logistics Lead include:
- Lead the remit of the Warehouse & logistics function.
- On the job learning
- Collaborating with other departments internally & externally
- General warehouse duties
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse/logistics or staff leading experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail.
With this being a trainee role, our clients are offering a mentor from within the Senior Staff and Directors.Working Hours & Salary
- Monday – Friday / 9am until 5pm
- £25,000 per annum depending on experience.
Expected salary: £25000 – 26000 per year
Location: Houghton, Cambridgeshire
