Job description: Position: Mechanical FitterSalary: £13.00ph – £15:00phLocation: EssexHours: Full Time 40 hours per week – 08:00am – 16:30pmProactive are currently in search of multiple Mechanical Fitters for a world leading Aerospace and Automotive company based in Essex. They are at the forefront of delivering the parts that matters to their customers. Through innovation and collaboration, they have put their customers ahead of the competition in the automotive and aerospace industry.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the mechanical assembly / fitting of company products.
- Achieve production targets and
- Work from engineering drawings.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and law.
- Have knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and Q1.
- Understand the Quality Management System Quality Brief.
clock in/out and fill in time cards correctly. * Promote safe and efficient systems, assembly, and production.
- Provide your own tools and ensure they are serviceable at all times.
- Communicate to the Team Leader, Assembly Manager or Workshop Manager giving feedback on all aspects that would affect completion or quality of our products.
- Assist in inspections of products if required.
ExperiencePrevious experience in all or some of the following areas:
- Automation Automotive manufacturing Aerospace manufacturing
- Mechanical/material handling
- Pneumatics Inspection
- On site install
- Excellent team player
- Positive ‘can‐do’ attitude
