Job description: Our client is a leading defendant insurance firm, it is seeking a clinical negligence solicitor to join its healthcare department to handle defendant clinical negligence claims. The firm prides itself on having excellent development opportunities for progression alongside a flexible working culture and is looking for NHS Resolution experienced talent to increase their offering across all aspects of healthcare law.Main Responsibilities
- Running a caseload of clinical negligence, patient safety, consent to treatment, human rights, child law and mental health claims
- Assisting other members of staff with their cases and daily tasks where available.
- Supervision of junior team members
- Achieve set financial and chargeable hours targets
- Deal with own hearings and trials
- Attend NHS Trusts to seek witness statements
- Essential criteria
- Must have previous NHS resolution clinical defendant experience
- Experience of providing other healthcare related advice
- Knowledge of CPR procedures
- Working to strict deadlines and timescales
