Job description: The University of Nottingham is one of the most highly regarded universities in the UK and sits within the QS global top 100 and is renowned for its excellent teaching and world changing research.A fantastic opportunity has become available to join and lead the Financial Management’s Corporate Finance Team, in the role of Head of Corporate Finance.This is a Fixed Term opportunity that will report to the newly appointed Director of Financial Management, the permanent role will be advertised in due course.The Corporate Finance Team are responsible for the collation and coordination of the group management accounts, development of the group financial statements as well as management of the external audit process and Treasury activity.The ideal candidate;
- Has extensive experience in coordinating and producing financial statements complying with accounting standards
- Applies a strategic view
- Is a strong communicator at all levels
- Demonstrates team leadership
- Has experience of supporting change management
