Job description: Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the warehouse operations.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring products are picked and packed in a timely manner.Accurately receiving and locating of goods.Adherence to company legislative Health and Safety requirements in all areas.Key requirementsA good level of literacy is required when dealing with orders.The role can be physically demanding at times and the successful applicant needs to be able to deal with that aspect of the role.Skilled in Use of Microsoft Office software package.Desirable requirementsCurrent fork lift licence is preferable, though training will be given.Good awareness and attitude to health and safety.Previous experience of working in a warehouse or stores environment.Person specificationThe successful applicant will be required to carry out general warehouse duties in a busy environment, handling domestic and international goods. The applicant will be self-motivated and have a methodical approach to problem solving with the ability to plan ahead, prioritise and coordinate with colleagues.BenefitsWhen you join Renishaw, we’re committing to your future career.
