- Strong knowledge of UK import/export operations and regulations
- Lead, direct and manage site operations to ensure that operations staff execute service agreements at or above the client’s standards.
- Strong working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory compliance laws and regulations related to the supply chain and transportation industry.
- Maximise profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt communications and follow-up on all pending matters with the client and global colleagues.
- Drive exemplary cost controls.
- Obtain competitive advantage by negotiation and procurement.
- Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives.
- Follows revenue and expenses to budget constraints.
- Responsible to train, develop and motivate employees to peak performance and growth in their knowledge and responsibilities.
- Negotiate with carriers and vendors to maximize profitability.
- Work with CWW partners and agents to ensure success.
- Develop and maintain SOP’s.
- Ensure compliance in line with company and industry policies.
- Committed to training and development through internal and external sources.
- Timely and thorough adherence to Appraisal processes
- Driving KPI Adherence Other duties as assigned

- Proven track record in cost control and cost reduction
- Proven track record in margin growth
- Proven track record in contract negotiation
- Previous Managerial experience in conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures

- Aviation Security
- Knowledge of dangerous goods handling
- Understanding FCPA regulations
- Understand AEO/ISO requirements
- Understanding of International Trade Regulations
- 3 years industry experience at a similar level
