Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Sales, the purpose of the role will be to ensure the coordination and delivery of effective marketing and communications in response to customer and organisational needs, enhancing Sanctuary Care’s reputation in the market.Regular travel is required so it’s essential you have a driving licence.The role of the Senior Marketing Manager will include:

  • Lead on the lead generation (LG) quarterly focus homes plans, managing the offline, online and customer review strategies, ensuring annual targets are met in line with KPIs, including the reporting to Care Board of enquiry performance.
  • Manage all marcomms content for the Care directorate, tailoring messages for audiences, for lead-gen, brand awareness and stakeholder management purposes, including and not limited to e-marketing, broadcast, newsletters, press, editorials, advertisements and digital advertisements.
  • Manage the full production and delivery of a wide range of high quality marketing and promotional literature and material for different audiences, including internal and external customers and other key stakeholders, which raises Sanctuary Care’s profile and communicates key messages and objectives.
  • Ensure that Group Marketing protocols are applied correctly across the business by overseeing the material being produced by the team and other departments.
  • Manage the provision of an effective marketing service to colleagues, advising on appropriate tools to communicate to their audience and recommending practical and cost effective solutions.
  • Manage and undertake appropriate research and analysis of all marketing campaigns and activities against key performance indicators and business development targets.
  • Manage and liaise with designers and print agencies providing clear briefs to ensure high quality designs and cost effective marketing collateral is produced to support the sales and marketing activities undertaken by the business.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships improving the effectiveness of the sales and marketing activities undertaken within Sanctuary Care.
  • Lead on the management of third-party agencies for the Care directorate, meeting KPIs and reporting on successes to senior management team and where appropriate Care board; including and not limited to PR and digital agency activity
  • Ensure all manual and computerised records are updated in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring compliance with the Group’s Record Management and Data Protection policies.
  • Manage the recruitment, performance and development of quality people, ensuring that resources are deployed effectively to achieve KPIs.
  • Contribute to the development of the annual sales and marketing strategy for the Care Directorate.

Skills and experience:

  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
  • Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Experience in budget preparation and control
  • Experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
  • Experience of people management
  • Proven experience of effective communication at all levels
  • Proven experience in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
