You will mentor Product Designers with their products and developing practice, leading the synthesis and validation of new approaches and innovations before demonstrating to the wider design team for consideration and adoption.Our products are wide ranging, serving end customers and internal teams across sales, leasing, and operations, focusing on demand generation, sales acceleration, and data-driven apps. Your time will vary between design execution across products, conceptual experience design across a range of initiatives, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders – never a dull day! You will be customer and insight led in your approach, with a sharp eye for detail and a strong track record bringing products to life with great design.The resulting experiences will define excellence for our ‘front-stage’ product offerings, combining services, technology and content in ways that engage and delight our customers, online and offline.Lead the evolution and implementation of our product design practice, including coaching, mentoring and/or line management as required for other team membersLead the design process across multiple products from problem discovery through implementation and ongoing measurement of impactBuild a strong and trusted relationship with senior JLL product team stakeholders, becoming their primary design partnerGuide and validate design decisions through analytics and research, liaising with the user research team to drive adoption of research methodologies appropriate to different customer and business problem scenariosSupport and mentor Product Designers within the team by overseeing their practice and demonstrating ‘what good looks like’, leading by example and coaching where necessaryDetermine the right methods and artefacts that efficiently and effectively communicate design decisions e.g. experience maps, service blueprints, user journey, wireframes, low and high fidelity prototypesBalance user and business goals to achieve desirable, viable, and feasible solutionsFacilitate engaging and collaborative workshops with senior stakeholders, creating models of good practice and adding value via the introduction of design thinking techniques and environments across JLL TechnologyCollaborate effectively with product directors, engineers, designers, researchers, data analysts and business stakeholdersFacilitate presentations and reviews to socialize the rationale and insights that informed the designSound like the job you’re looking for?
