Location: Hybrid – Burnely 1-2 days a weekThe Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic Head of Operational IT for a key role within an industry leading consultancy. you will be responsible for leading the Internal IT function as well as supporting key clients with strategy and support.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective IT Operations Management, adhering to ITIL best practices.
- Act as a senior supplier for client projects, ensuring minimal service impact.
- Lead service review meetings, focusing on performance, quality, and process improvements.
- Define and implement robust monitoring of OLAs, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Report operational performance issues and risks to the Executive IT Director.
- Own and maintain IT Operations service BCP and DR plans.
- Manage the finance budget for the service, including reporting and planning.
- Ensure adherence to IT and Corporate policies and maintain IT roadmaps.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of Service Management Delivery, particularly ITIL.
- Minimum 10 years in the IT industry with at least 5 years in a senior IT operations role.
- Experience managing IT Service/Operations environments.
- Broad understanding of both infrastructure and application delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Proven supplier management experience.
- Exceptional presentation skills to engage senior leaders.
