Your analysis will uncover drivers of business performance and contribute directly to the growth of the whole business. You will be the 2nd hire of our new data department, and report to CFO directly. You will work closely with another in-house data product manager and other heads of departments on different projects.What you’ll be doing?📊 Data CollectionManage and enhance business intelligence infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.Evaluate and refine existing data collection practices for improved accuracy and efficiency.🔍 Data AnalysisCollaborate with stakeholders to identify pain points and key analytical questions.Provide insights on performance metrics on both operational and strategic level, work with different departments and develop new metrics with unique business and department context.📉 Internal and External ReportingDevelop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to facilitate decision-making.Streamline reporting processes to foster time savings and cross-departmental transparency.🔄 Data ProjectsReview and audit existing internal processes by implementing automation solutions to derive efficiency gainsLead the process and dataflow re-design projects and work with different stakeholdersAbout you
- Experience: Proven track record of handling intricate data from diverse sources and systems. Previous quantitative analysis experience in a fast-paced Tech/SaaS setting is highly desirable. (2+ of professional experience required)
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable delving into commercial metrics such as LTV, CPL, sales cycle, conversion rates, churn, and unit economics. Prior exposure to financial data analysis or modelling is advantageous.
- Technical Proficiency: Highly skilled in Excel, adept at crafting analytical SQL queries, and familiar with BigQuery. Basic knowledge of Python is a plus. Additionally, proficiency in data visualisation tools like Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker Studio, or Power BI is essential.
- Automation and Best Practices: Successful track record of automating critical data processes and implementing best practices in data quality, documentation, and governance.
- Data Modelling: Solid understanding of data modelling principles and tools, such as dbt, to ensure robust data structures and workflows.
- Autonomy and Communication: Highly motivated to work independently with strong organisational and time management skills. Experience with Scrum/Sprint project management methodologies is advantageous. Additionally, you should possess the ability to communicate complex findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
