Job description: This role provides the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients across the business with direct accountability for the output of Buyers and Executives within the team. As a Manager you are responsible for overseeing the delivery and performance of campaigns that are implemented within the team, developing best practice, recommending ways to drive growth within channels, driving innovation through testing, and mentoring and supporting your team.You will work across a range of technologies to deliver best in class audio and video campaigns for OMG clients and will be able to recommend different products that are relevant to the clients’ objectives and identify how programmatic technology can provide solutions for accessing audio and video inventory. You will work closely with agency planning teams to recommend these solutions to the clients and will also work closely with DSP partners to ensure that campaigns are utilising the right platform features and to help test new products within the technology.As a Manager you will also drive personal development for those in the team by identifying training requirements, providing feedback, and guiding junior members of the team to develop their programmatic expertise.You should have a passion for digital media, technology, automation and efficiencies and have existing experience of working in the digital media industry and using platforms for buying digital campaigns.Communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects to meet deadlines is important. The successful candidate will have a logical approach to problem solving and strong attention to detail.   • Experience working in digital media, preferably with in-platform buy-side or sell-side experience
  • Equivalent digital channel experience will be considered such as those from biddable, search, social or digital planning backgrounds
  • Operational knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem and wider advertising technology landscape
  • Knowledge of how to apply different programmatic practices including bidding strategies, inventory routes, data sources, formats, tracking and attribution
  • Proven history of operational organisational skills such as campaign management and project delivery
  • Experience in developing people from line management or mentoring
  • Confidence in presenting on programmatic topics and digital strategies
  • Experience in communicating effectively with planning teams and/or clients
  • Proactive in finding solutions and capability to think laterally to find solutions for complex problems
  • Confidence with basic statistics and data analysis
  • Proven, consistent and excellent attention to detail
  • A passion for keeping abreast of latest innovations and trends within the video industry

Responsibilities of the role

  • Lead programmatic advertising strategies to identify the right opportunities and benefits of programmatic buying for audio and video environments for your clients
  • Be accountable and responsible for the delivery and objectives of your audio and video campaigns for you and your team
  • Work closely with the agency team to translate audience and business insight into actionable targeting and advertising strategies to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Contribute insight and expert opinion to illustrate the effect of optimisations of the campaign and provide findings to fuel planning
  • Communicate and educate on OMG audio and video product opportunities and positioning to agency planners and client teams
  • Responsibility and remit for key OMG AV product areas to identify relevant needs and use cases for product development
  • Collaborate with leading technology vendors to innovate and find solutions using programmatic technology to meet client objectives
  • Work with OMG Digital teams and partners to gain access to relevant alpha and beta opportunities for your clients and support in designing suitable tests
  • Work alongside the Inventory team, publishers directly and DSP teams to ensure your campaigns have access to relevant inventory supply whilst also maintaining necessary brand suitability frameworks
  • Create case studies and best practice material to showcase work across the operational teams
  • Collaborate with product leads to provide feedback on product performance and ideas on improvements to offerings, operations, and processes
  • Manage and support your team, ensuring that they adhere to processes, deliver against core activation tasks and assist them with hypothesis design and optimisations
  • Provide and support with personal development plans for your team and help to identify training requirements and areas for capability improvement.
