We couldn’t do it without our wonderful people.As our new Referencing Screener, you’ll have a major impact on helping us achieve our goal. You’ll be responsible for completing colleagues’ pre-employment referencing to ensure colleagues have been referenced in line with relevant legislation and airport authority regulations, to enable them to obtain an Airport Identification Card (AIC) or Crew Identification Card (CIC).This is a fixed-term role until around June 2024.What you’ll be doing:Be a subject matter expert in aviation referencing, ensuring referencing is completed in compliance with:

  • DfT Airside Pass Scheme Guidance.
  • Base ID centre regulations.
  • Respective Jet2.com policies.

You’ll also:

  • Ensure delivery of new colleague’s referencing within or exceeding SLA’s.
  • Understand the referencing requirements for the business area.
  • Identification and resolution of any issues which may impact the successful referencing of candidates with business-specific timeframes.
  • Work as ‘One Team’ with all key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of airside passes in time (to SLA’s) to meet operational delivery.
  • Liaising with the reference Specialist – Central (SVS- C) on all complex or problematic cases including escalation and planning to overcome challenges to deliver operational requirements.
  • Identification of not possible/lengthy timed resolutions to (SVS -C). either through email or at daily meetings.
  • Early identification of any anticipated failure to meet course deadline and reasons.

What you’ll have:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a similar role preferred.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to achieve deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Initiative and ability to identify, solve and escalate problems appropriately.
  • Ability to obtain a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC).
