Job description: Maintenance Operations AdministratorResponsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including planned preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work orders, equipment history, and maintenance logs.
  • Assist in managing the maintenance budget and tracking expenses.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate repairs, order parts, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update equipment documentation, including manuals, warranties, and service contracts.
  • Perform data entry and generate reports related to maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Support the implementation of maintenance improvement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Provide administrative support to the maintenance team, including scheduling meetings, organizing documentation, and coordinating training and certifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Operations Administrator or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair processes and terminology.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance or facilities management environment is preferred.

Expected salary: £21000 – 23000 per year
