Job description: We’re recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a successful manufacturing company in Wincanton, Somerset.What you will doYou’ll be joining the friendly warehouse team to pick, pack and despatch orders and keep the warehouse organised and tidy.
- Pick, pack, and label goods ready for despatch.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles.
- Maintain good stock storage and rotation.
- Act as relief van driver to cover holiday or sickness when needed.
Skills and experience for your new Warehouse Operative role.Warehouse experience would be great, but its not essential to start. You’ll need to be able to use a computer for delivery information and labelling. This company offers development opportunities such as fork lift training.Full driving licence required for relief van driving.Working patternHours of work for this Warehouse Operative position are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (42 hours per week). Occasional delivery driving will require different hours.This is expected to be a 3 month temporary position, with a review for a permanent role.Are you the right person for this job?
