International Operations Officer at Abertay University

The External and Corporate Relations team leads the University in both our external engagement agenda and internal corporate relationships and communications. The team is focussed on enhancing both the University’s reputation and revenue, and encompasses five focussed functions: Marketing and Communications, International Recruitment and Partnerships, UK Recruitment; Admissions; and Events.

The University now seeks to appoint an International Operations Officer to support the coordination and management of key stakeholder relationships and activities, with the aim of attracting international applications and enrolments for all University programmes. The role leads and coordinates the international operations infrastructure, to support campus-based recruitment and conversion activities. Report management is a key facet of the role – providing timely reporting relating to enrolment goals and budgets.

Reporting to the Head of International Recruitment, the International Operations Officer plays a key role in leading the operations of the International Recruitment Team from campus. As a non-travelling position, the International Operations Officer will work closely with colleagues in other areas of the directorate, in particular with colleagues in admissions, marketing, communications, and domestic recruitment functions, as well as other University stakeholders within academic schools and university services. The role also oversees the delivery of the study abroad and student exchange programme, managing the Student Exchange Officer.
