We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our growing client in Rumney. This role offers the opportunity for a temporary position that may lead to a permanent role, providing stability and long-term career growth.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Managing a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, support, and training to promote a positive and productive work environment.

• Assigning tasks, monitoring work progress, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

• Maintaining inventory accuracy, performing stock checks, and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation.

• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as required.

• Managing and escalating any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisors.

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

• Driving is required for this role, therefore a valid driver’s licence is essential.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment.

• Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• A valid driving licence, as driving is an essential requirement for this role.

• Forklift certification is desirable but not essential.
