Professional Practice in the Humanities at Bath Spa University
Job Description
Job description
Bath Spa University believes that the arts and humanities play a fundamental role in helping us to solve problems, whether locally, regionally, or for our community of students. This is a unique opportunity to apply your professional and academic skills and experience to the development of learning and teaching which explicitly and visibly supports this commitment. About the role

It combines the embedding of professional practice, including through the mentoring of colleagues, in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with the identification and management of opportunities for collaborative working across the School, the wider University, and with external partners.
About you

You will have a proven track record in project design, implementation, and evaluation, including identifying opportunities and building effective teams. You should possess experience working with diverse audiences and stakeholders in the development and delivery of projects and services, both commercially and academically. Additionally, experience in developing and delivering professional development programs, especially within higher education, is essential. A clear understanding of employer expectations and the role of non-vocational programs in higher education is crucial.
Note that candidates who already have an academic background will be expected to demonstrate their experience of and involvement in knowledge exchange and public engagement activity.
