The Role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Lecturer to join our small, friendly specialist team in Broadcast Engineering. This is a vital role to support the development of our Broadcast Engineering course, also contribute to a growing remit in related areas.

We understand the importance of work life balance and offer a flexible working pattern within the commitment to the curriculum, on either a 0.4 (two days a week) or 0.5 (two and half days a week).
Working closely with our course leader, you will:
- Teach on our inspiring campus.
- Supervise final projects and other practical course work.
- Mark and assess student’s work.
- Mentor and develop students.
The Candidate
You have
- Industry experience in a technical broadcasting role or are closely related to broadcast engineering.
- A working knowledge of broadcast systems.
- A knowledge of and enthusiasm for broadcasting
- An interest in emerging technology – for example virtual reality or virtual production
- An interest in teaching, this could be as part of a portfolio career.
- An ability to work as part of a small teaching team and, where needed, to work independently.
- A passion for responding to student needs from a range of backgrounds.
