Job Description
The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Technical Instructor to join our technical team. This is an exciting time as we continue to provide essential technical support for the film, digital media, journalism and photography programmes in the newly-formed School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience of delivering technical instruction and industry-relevant advice in film production to students and academic staff, and who can demonstrate knowledge and experience of current digital filmmaking workflows, equipment and techniques. As part of the technical team, the post holder will issue and administer the technical equipment and resources and make sure that the equipment, facilities and processes are in safe and good working order whilst demonstrating excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in supporting Premier Pro and we would particularly welcome applications from candidates with knowledge of Edit Share and experience of using SiSo software.
