It has a team of more than 90 professionals spread over its European headquarters and regional offices within Africa, Asia and Latin America.The firm’s Investor Solutions team is looking for an experienced and impact-driven Senior Sales Manager to join its team in The UK.The RoleAs a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading sales and business development activities for the UK. Based in the UK, or potentially other regions in Europe, you will drive the sales efforts in the UK with the possibility toextend to other geographic areas such as the Benelux or The Nordics. This is a new role, providing you with an excellent opportunity to develop and implement the sales strategy for the organisation’s funds. You will work closely with the Investor Solutions team and report to the Head of Investor Solutions.Your key responsibilities will include:Supporting the Investor Solutions team’s sales and business development fundraising goals and coordinating client acquisitionLeading investor due diligence and execution of transactions for private debt and private equity fundsCoordinating relations with investors mainly located in The UKTaking responsibility for the after-sales process, including reporting to investors, continuous relationship management, and cross-sellingDriving the improvement of operational processes on a continuous basisContributing to the development of a marketing strategy, including customer journey, design, and updating of marketing materialsSupporting the development and introduction of new fund structures or financial productsConducting research on the impact investor space and managing lead generationYour profileThe organisation is looking for a self-driven sales professional with a strong track record of selling financial services and products in European markets, preferably in fixed-income instruments. The ideal candidate should have an excellent network in the financial sector in the UK and potentially other European markets. You should also have top-level sales experience, aclient-centric mentality coupled with an open and engaging communication style, and great interpersonal skills. Previous experience with sustainable or impact investing in development finance is an advantage.You should possess the following skills and competencies:Master’s degree in Finance or Economics (or relevant business-related field)3+ years of relevant professional Investor Relations/Distribution experience, such as asset/wealth management, banking, finance, or consultingStrong sales acumen with the ability to integrate regulatory requirements into the processesExcellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, proven team-orientation, high level of self-motivation, results-driven approach, and tenacity with a “hands-on” mentalityDeep interest in impact finance and sustainable developmentHigh level of integrity and ethics and a strong interest in emerging marketsFluent in English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly those relevant to our sales regions, is highly desirable.The OfferingThe organisation offers a challenging and entrepreneurial assignment in a fast-growing impact investor environment, a high degree of job satisfaction, and a competitive remuneration package.
