Job description: The postholder will be part of the Corporate Patient Safety Team and assist with the administration of the Datix/InPhase system and processing of incidents.They will also be required to generate reports from the Datix/InPhase System.The postholder will be required to support colleagues within Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Datix/InPhase System users.They will also be required to assist in the migration of data from Datix to InPhase (part of a 6 month project).This is a part time post offering 26.25 hours per week.Main duties of the jobThe postholder will play a key role in running, maintaining and supporting the development of the Datix/InPhase System. The postholder will support the Datix/InPhase System Manager to achieve compliance with the Learning from Patient Safety Events (LFPSE) data quality standards.The postholder will provide efficient, confidential and comprehensive administration of the Datix/InPhase system. This will involve regular contact with users to enable access to Datix/InPhase and provide advice and support regarding the use and functionality of the system as appropriate.The post holder will extract data from the Datix / InPhase for use within corporate and other reports.The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and accept changes to areas of responsibility in line with the on-going system development and the needs of the Trust.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 695,000 people.Our vision is ‘great healthcare from great people’.
