We are looking for a Trainee Lecturer in Electrical Installation with excellent communication skills, drive and enthusiasm who would like to pass their knowledge and experience on to our students to ensure they receive the best possible learning experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or relevant trade.

Our trainee programme has been development to attract experienced industry professionals, with expert industry knowledge and skills, to work in Further Education. Their understanding of the latest skills, techniques, approaches and equipment has the potential to improve student outcomes.

Joining Bury College as a Trainee Lecturer in Electrical Installation, you will be employed on a full time or part-time, basis teaching for an agreed number of days a week whilst studying on campus towards a level 3 award in Education and Training.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training course is a foundation level qualification for teaching in the lifelong learning sector (post-compulsory education for anyone aged over 16). Funding for this qualification may be available through Bury College, further details can be found at interview stage. Following the completion of the Level 3, there may be further options to continue training towards a PGCE.
