Job description: Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for anyone with Quality Assurance experience within the food manufacturing industry to work for a key working business in Mid Glamorgan. We’re seeking a full-time QA Technologist for a full-time, permanent role, earning an attractive salary up to £35,000 per annum and benefits for your expertise.

In this QA Technologist position, you will work within a busy manufacturing environment and ensuring all customer specifications are met. You’ll be responsible for all new finished product packaging from start to finish and maintaining raw material assurance systems are kept up to date. This is a day shift role, Monday through Friday.

Some of your day-to-day duties in this QA Technologist role will include:

  • Developing packaging solutions in line with customer briefs
  • Providing technical support both internally and externally
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintaining the product specification system
  • Ensuring accurate and current specifications are available for all raw materials

You will need previous experience within the food manufacturing/packaging industry to apply for this QA Technologist position. We are also looking for applicants with:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Packaging/Specifications/Technical Compliance role
  • Knowledge of risk assessment principles
  • A degree in a food-related discipline – PREFERRED
